If you said yes, then definitely check out Hidden Values. They are a wonderful company based out of Dallas, TX. Basically what happens is, you choose to own one of six different themed magazines and buy the rights for that name in your area. Once you set that up with them, and hopefully you hire me as your graphic designer (wink, wink!), then you’re all set to be your own boss and make some great money in the advertising world!
I get a lot of requests from interested people for a pricing guide of my graphic design rates. I follow the Hidden Values design price structure. It keeps it simple for my Publishers and they don’t have to worry about any surprises when I send the invoice after the magazine is sent to the printer. Here is a pricing guide to best illustrate the rates and fees.

- Existing ads with photo and text changes or resizing of ads: $17.50
- Text only changes (not having to reshape the ad): $5.00
- Production layout fee: $200 (16 page magazine), $250 (20 page magazine), $300 (24 page magazine), etc. This Hidden Values fee covers the prepress time, uploading to the printer and proof sign offs.
- Media Bids ads (that you supply me): Free! Note that I will charge $17.50 if I have to reshape the ad to a different size than what they supply you.
- Articles (when all I have to do is copy/paste into the magazine layout): Free!
